Legacy Emanuel Medical Center has officially opened its new Interfaith Chapel—a sacred, non-denominational space created for pause, prayer, reflection, and healing. 🌿💧🕊️ Honoring our Lutheran roots while embracing the diverse spiritual needs of our community, this chapel serves patients, families, and staff at Legacy Emanuel, Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, and the Legacy Oregon Burn Center. As a Level 1 trauma center, we know that healing extends beyond physical care. This thoughtfully designed space supports the mind, body, and spirit—with symbolic elements like a labyrinth, flowing water, and the resilient willow tree. A special ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the chapel, bringing together staff, donors, and community supporters to celebrate more than a decade of planning and purpose. Thank you to everyone who made this vision a reality. With nearly $1 million raised in partnership with the Oregon Synod, the chapel is a powerful testament to what we can accomplish together. ♥️ (fb)
