Together with our dedicated Board of Directors and City and State Officials we are the key element in the Citys economic resurgence for its businesses residents and community. The Waterbury Development Corporation WDC is the City of Waterburys designated nonprofit economic and community organization. The Corporation was founded as a partnership of the public and private sectors to help the City of Waterbury its businesses and its residents revitalize their city stimulate and support economic development promote investment in education rehabilitate and maintain the citys housing stock eliminate urban blight and decay manage construction projects and improve the overall quality of life.
