At the end of April, St. Luke’s hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration for its newest retail pharmacy located on the west side of St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. Positioned near the emergency department, St. Luke’s Urgent Care and numerous clinics, the new pharmacy offers convenience for patients to fill their prescriptions immediately after their appointments. Patients inside the hospitals will also benefit. In the coming months, the “Meds to Beds” program — where medication is delivered to patients’ bedsides before they leave the hospital — will expand in Twin Falls. “I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing leaders who made this happen—Stephen Nadler, Jennifer Bowen, Jenna Lammers, and Stacey Goodnight,” said Kelley Curtis, vice president and chief pharmacy officer, who spoke to the crowd of St. Luke’s staff and community members. “And for our entire Magic Valley pharmacy team who will bring this vision to life every day.” Mike Fenello, VP of Population Health, recognized project foreman Marty Mangum who is retiring after 22 years with St. Luke’s. They held the ribbon for pharmacy manager Linh Morgan to cut with large scissors provided by the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. (fb)
