Waco Foundation is the community foundation for McLennan County. With more than $150 million in charitable assets under management, the Foundation is uniquely positioned to understand the needs of the nonprofit community and provide resources to strengthen the local charitable sector. Waco Foundation purchased 1224 Austin Avenue in 2022 after an extensive, multi-year market search. This building, named The Avenue Nonprofit Center, will serve as Waco Foundation’s home and a collaborative nonprofit center with office space, meeting and event space and centralized resources for local charities. This space is home to mission-aligned nonprofits working side-by-side, sharing resources like office space, meeting rooms, and back-office services — all at a reduced cost. The result?
