We are a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the nature gap for youth from marginalized communities. The Nature Gap Youth of color in New Jersey are over 3x more likely to live in areas deprived of nature. Urban youth are less likely to experience the benefits of exposure to nature which include better selfconfidence mental health and academic performance. On average teens spend up to 9 hours indoors daily watching or using screens and children 46 hours.
