Waring School | Private Liberal Arts School in Beverly, MA ABOUT THE WARING SCHOOL Since its founding in 1972 by Philip and Josee Waring as an alternative approach to schooling Waring has set itself apart by its commitment to creating an environment where learning can thrive. We strive to maintain a culture that honors and supports the human desire to learn. Waring is situated on 32 acres in Beverly Massachusetts and offers a full program of intellectual aesthetic and physical activities a program that balances academic rigor with breadth. Waring asks students to take risks and engage with subjects and activities outside their comfort zone and enables students to find their voice and build skills in many ways.
