We’re honored to introduce you to Kassandra — a brave survivor, a proud dog mom to Pookie, and a woman stepping boldly into a brand-new chapter of life. For over a year, Kassandra and Pookie experienced homelessness. She has survived trafficking, assault, domestic violence, and a long battle with addiction. This past February, she nearly lost her life. But today? Kassandra is clean, sober and enrolled in school- preparing to start at OSU OKC this fall. In her own words, “The Lord continues to guide me in the right direction.” At Heart and Home Makeovers, we had the incredible privilege of transforming Kassandra’s empty house into a space full of light, comfort, and joy — a home that reflects her strength, resilience, and hope. Every piece was chosen to remind her that she is seen, supported, and deeply loved. This wasn’t just a makeover.
