An additional fifteen properties including some of the most challenging properties in Shelby County are working towards earning SafeWays certification and are already seeing results. Six SafeWays SELECT Certified Communities have undergone an extensive physical assessment by our crime prevention professionals. These properties have exceeded our basic certification requirements and have demonstrated longterm low incidence of criminal activity on site based on data from the Memphis Police Department.
