Team ServiceSource had a great time at the annual Our Stomping Ground (OSG) 5K/10K, where every dollar raised goes towards building stronger communities where adults with developmental disabilities can thrive. OSG works to strengthen local neighborhoods through sustainable, affordable housing, engaging programs, and social spaces that welcome people of all abilities. The ServiceSource Board of Directors met with leadership, staff, program participants, and partners to see our mission in action during their May meeting at our Delaware affiliate, Opportunity Center Inc. (OCI). At the FMC Stine Research Center, board members saw how students in OCI's FrameWORK for Success program gain hands-on experience alongside scientists and engineers through a partnership with FMC Corporation. Next, the group toured OCI's new Riverfront Day Program location, slated to open this summer. The trip ended with a visit to the Carvel State Office Building, where OCI employees provide services through a state-use contract. The Carvel Building houses the office of Gov. Matt Meyer, a longtime supporter of OCI programs. ServiceSource is proud of the positive impact OCI is having on residents of Delaware and grateful to all who helped to make the visits meaningful. #buildingstrongercommunities (fb)
