Free History Project | This annual film grant is intended to honor the spirit and legacy of Sarah Jacobson. About The Free History Project is a 501c3 film production distribution and educational outreach organization. Its mission is to advance knowledge of media history and humanities basedsubjects through independent documentary film and education. The Free History Project FHP was founded in 2001 on the belief that documentary film can overcome cultural socioeconomic and age differences to reach a wide range of viewers. FHP is an outgrowth of the documentary film The Weather Underground.
