Pasteur Alumni – a non-profit organization established in 1997 to aid the children of Pasteur Elementary School Welcome to the Friends of Pasteur School Detroit Website. The FRIENDS OF PASTEUR SCHOOL DETROIT formerly The Pasteur Elementary School Alumni Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 1997 to support the children of Pasteur Elementary School in Detroit with programs books field trips tutors food and scholarships for posthigh school education. During COVID19 we reached out to over 125 families in need to help them with financial aid new books bags of art supplies and a list of resources to help them. Some of these families live miles from Pasteur but send their children to Pasteur because it is a safer environment.
