Honoring the Wisdom That Comes With Age The Brookline Senior Center BSC is a gathering place dedicated to enriching the aging experience by providing a diverse environment with a wide range of opportunities programs and services the majority of which are provided by volunteers in the areas of health learning art socialization nutrition and recreation. In addition and perhaps more importantly the Brookline COA provides Brookline area seniors a strong and inviting community in which to meet new friends socialize volunteer and stay active. SAVE MONEY, SAVE FOOD On Monday, August 18, from 1:00 pm‐2:00 pm, join Zipora Vainstein, facilitator of the Food Preservation, Cooking, & Baking Tips class, for this lecture. In times like these when there are shortages in food stores, you can save money and make anything you want at home such as, mayonnaise, white cheese, bread, butter, jam, cakes, and pickled vegetables. Within reason, rather than throwing things away, you can potentially make something out of whatever you already have in the kitchen.
