Founded in 1968, Matagiri (Mother's Mountain in Sanskrit) was established as a link between the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India and the U. S. Matagiri maintains a library and meditation room and hosts visiting lecturers. We distribute books and information relating to Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga and the international community of Auroville and channel funds to these and related projects.
