We have a couple of dogs who need those very special humans who value the rewarding experience of truly changing the life of a dog. This is Piper--she is sister to Oliver (who was just posted on here in an adorable video). They were born as strays in Eastern WA and brought over to us around the age of four months. They have been learning to trust humans while living among other confident and friendly dogs. Like her brother, Piper enjoys the company of other dogs. Piper is a bit more confident than her brother. Piper is seeking a calm home with friendly dogs and patient humans. (We are recommending no kids) She is also a cattle-dog mix with a ton of potential! She and Oliver have been living in a boarding facility since coming from Easter WA a year ago. We are so grateful for the help we've received from the people there who have worked with these dogs, but we would love to see them get into homes with families as soon as possible. We have had volunteer dog walkers also spending time with Piper and Oliver who have not had any negative reactions from the dogs; they have only been timid and shy. WARNING: Video is so cute, you may want to watch it again and forget about what you are supposed to be doing. Oliver (white cattle dog mix) was born as a stray in Eastern WA early of 2024. He was brought to us (along with his siblings and his mom) at the age of four months. He is a sweet goofball still learning to be more relaxed around humans but boy oh boy, does his joy come out when he's around other dogs. Oliver is currently staying in a boarding facility with short trips out to play with other dogs. Oliver is looking for a home (foster or forever) with compassionate humans who will let him just be with doggy friends and who will appreciate his sweet nature. Although he has been shy and timid with humans, not once has he ever shown a single moment of aggression or snapped. It's obvious that his soul is sweet to the core...and being just over a year old, we know this boy will blossom if given the chance.
