The ISCC promotes public safety in all communities through a unique blend of awareness and activities and offers members of the General Assembly thoughtful legislative solutions that keep public safety at the forefront of legislation impacting police departments across the state. Mission Statement The Illinois State Crime Commission is a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise awareness to issues that impact victims of crime in Illinois and to publicly acknowledge the bravery and sacrifices made by those who secure the safety of the people of Illinois . Youth The ISCC partner with the Police Athletic League to offer a number of unique approaches to changing the lives of innercity kids through athletic activities donation drives and mentoring groups.
