People Inc. was founded in 1971. People Inc. exists so that individuals with disabling conditions or other special needs have the supports they need to participate and succeed in an accepting society. The agency currently has over 2,000 full and part-time employees. More than 10,000 individuals are served throughout the Western New York area within the counties of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Wyoming.

Lockport Young Adult Life Transitions Programs (YALT) has been hard at work in their creative writing classes with teaching artist Beth Geyer, writing their very own play.
