Meet LEXUS, a 10 lb PomChi who we should have named Drama Queen because she’s got more drama packed into this little body than a Tony Award winning Broadway play! Try to pick her up when she doesn’t want you to because she’s busy doing something like sniffing grass and not only will you hear about it, but so will everyone else. Try not picking her up when she wants you to and she’s jumping all over your legs like a Mexican jumping bean! LEXUS may be dramatic, but she’s a sweetheart. She’s a lap dog and a lover. She prances like a mini mini mini (etc) pony. She’s housebroken and when she’s got to go, she strikes up the drama choir! She was wearing a 2023 tag out of Licking County but there was no phone number and the account was deactivated in early 2024. How she showed up on Kilgore Ridge is anybody’s guess and LEXUS isn’t talking. Well, that’s not true. She talks, but not about that. She likes male dogs (the little hussy), but she turns into a Great white shark around females. She hasn’t minded kids. We don’t know about cats. Drama Queen’s stray hold is up tomorrow May 22. The saying “One person’s trash is another person’s treasure” has never been more fitting for this adoption story. The dog whose real name was Wiley but we named Ralphie because at the time we didn’t know his name and is now named ANGUS by his new family was DUMPED by his former owner in area inhabited by bison, cattle, and coyotes. It took 3 weeks to find him and trap him. Today, that nightmare is officially behind him because he has a new family who will love and cherish him the way he deserves. If love can heal trauma, we know this boy will be fine! ANGUS now calls Summit County home sweet home.
