INTERTRIBAL AGRICULTURE COUNCIL HOME NEWS PROGRAMS INITIATIVES MEMBERSHIP ONLINE COURSES EVENTS More OUR MISSION Founded in 1987 the Intertribal Agriculture Council39s IAC mission is topursue and promote the conservation development and use of the agricultural resources of the Native American Indian and Native Alaskan Tribes. As a member organization IAC provides a forum for Tribes and individual producers to elevate issues relevant to improving the management of Indian agricultural resources and promoting change in federal and Tribal policies. Central to IAC39s mission is increasing productivity with Tribal agricultural resources achieved through various initiatives focused on producer training and development market expansion financial risk reduction water rights protection and the preservation and growth of trust lands. MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS INITIATIVES eLEARNING EVENTS FEATURED INITIATIVES A threeyear project led by IAC and the Environmental Defense Fund to research environmental and financial factors of Regenerative Ag production.
