Chinese American Medical Association of Southern California (CAMASC) Home Welcome to CAMASC Leading Education Enriching Competency Perfecting Performance The Chinese American Medical Association of Southern California CAMASC formerly known as the Chinese Physicians for Chinatown CPC is a medical professional association which originated in Los Angeles California during the 1970s. CAMASC was later formally incorporated as a 501c 6 nonprofit organization in 1985. One of the primary focuses of CAMASC is promoting Continuing Medical Education CME for practicing physician members who are interested in improving the health care for Chinese in Southern California and North America. Thereby CAMASC is accredited by the Institute for Medical QualityCalifornia Medical Association IMQCMA to provide quality CME activities for its physicians.
