The mission of the Whatcom County Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Care Council is to help reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with trauma and acute illness. The Council membership is made up of a balance of ambulance and aid services hospital and prehospital providers consumers law enforcement and government agencies involved in the delivery of trauma care and emergency medical services. The Whatcom County Medical Program Director is an advisory member.
