Exodus Transitional Community Helping people build rebuild and thrive In March of 1999 just three years after returning home Julio Medina founded Exodus Transitional Community. With the help of one volunteer and a generous donation by our founding supporters we have been able to grow from a oneroom office at the Church of the Living Hope on East 104th Street donated by the late Reverend Dr. Lonnie McLeod to a multilocation justice organization serving over 3000 New Yorkers every year. Though grounded in our reentry programs Exodus Transitional Community offers a broad spectrum of services for adults and youth affected by the justice system.
