From opening on November 6 following early season snowstorms to skiing through to the end-of-season groomed trails on April 20, you’ve shared in the epic days and ever-present challenges. Grooming report for Easter Sunday, April 20th. It’s hard to believe, but this will be the final grooming report for the 2024-2025 season! All trails have received multiple grooming passes and the skiing should be excellent! The trails will be very firm and frozen until around 9AM. After 9AM the conditions should soften up nicely as the temperatures rise above 32 degrees. Classic wax will be universal and red klister mixed and all trails will be open except for Vista Ridge and the upper Mountain View extension. The snow is getting really thin, but we were able to move enough around for a great final day of skiing. 5 and a half months ago, we began what has been an incredible season. Tonight, Erik and I were able to get both snowcats back on the trails together for the first time in 3 and a half weeks after a marathon of repairs that were needed to one of our machines. It was a great way to wrap up the grooming season! A huge thank you to Erik for finishing up his second winter at Teacup. There is no one else that I’d rather battle a Mt.
