On Saturday, June 7 at 7:05 p.m., come to Four Winds Field to be part of Beacon’s Cancer Awareness Night. Doctors will be interviewed before the game and on live radio broadcast to talk about screenings and treatments. Beacon representatives will be on hand to share educational information with game attendees. A virtual jersey auction began May 6 and funds raised will support patients receiving cancer care at Beacon. The high bidders can put the name of a cancer survivor on the back of the special purple South Bend Cubs jerseys worn by the team that night.
