The Malee Scholarship The Malee Scholarship Women have long played an important role in type design and continue to make significant artistic and intellectual contributions to the field. Yet there is still a lack of cultural ethnic and gender diversity in our global industry. By actively seeking supporting and sustaining emerging talent far and wide the type design industry can commit to becoming a community that is more equitable and vibrant. The Malee Scholarship was established in 2019 and funded by Sharp Type Co.
