Rod Dedeaux Foundation
We're a 501(c) charity supporting at-risk youth in urban communities through free sports programs. The Rod Dedeaux Foundation was started by the college hall of fame baseball coach, Rod Dedeaux. We develop and our partners run free baseball and softball activities, this includes providing safe and well organized teams for youth to play on, building baseball fields, distributing equipment, running instructional camps, and providing other programs youth need. The effects of our programs on the youth and the families and communities attached to them is amazing and we are very passionate and proud of the results. We also stress education and this was the first year we raised enough funds to be able to provide college scholarships to two very deserving youth who badly needed the financial help.
