Today, the Coos History Museum joins communities across the nation in honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Today we celebrate the strength, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples, past, present, and future. We honor the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians, the Coquille Tribe, and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians and their ancestral lands along the Oregon Coast.
