Good Morning Facebook friends. Director, Phil Murphy, here. Hope you all are blessed. I wanted to update a few things. One is on the Newsletter I made a mistake, The last Care Center camp is July 20 - 25. I also wanted to tell you all about some projects we plan to do this summer. It is time to replace some of the troughs in our fish system. We are lucky to have Samuel Manner here as an intern this summer. He is focusing on remodeling and improving our Tilapia pond system. The second project is another pasture area needs to be replaced. This area has been growing trees and grasses for Beuford and the goats. We are now ready to include it in the feeding cycle.We need your help to complete these projects. Would you please consider helping sponsor these projects? Tilapia system - We will eventually be repairing and replacing all three greenhouse runs. To replace each trough we will need about $120.00 so the total will be $360.00. We may need a few other things so let's round this up to $400.00. You can sponsor the entire project or just choose one trough. Fencing project - we need 30 posts @ $23 per post. We need about 300 feet of wire and each 100 foot roll averages out to $200 per 100 feet. Total for this project is about $1300. Once again you may take on the whole project or choose some posts or fencing. We have three interns joining us this summer and many volunteers as well. So we have the labor but need your help financing these projects which in turn makes our regular giving go further. THANK YOU in advance!!! (fb)
