El Faro Executive Director Liza with rescue Job El Faro is a nonprofit organization providing shelter medicine food and love to abandoned dogs and cats in Puerto Rico. Since 2001 we have run a limitedadmission shelter located in the southeastern coast of the island. To date we have rescued rehabilitated and rehomed over 3000 animals. With our resources we run an educational program teaching young and old about compassionate and responsible care of animals.
