A supporter since 2001, she made history as the first Board President in over 25 years to serve a two-year term—bringing consistency, vision, and strength to the role. Her leadership is marked by sharp insight, unwavering commitment, and an ability to tackle complex challenges with thoughtfulness and grace. And she didn’t stop there. While many board presidents take a well-earned breather after their term, Stephanie leaned in even further—continuing her service as our Past-President and now as Chair of our Governance Committee. Volunteer Awards 2025: Exceptional Bellevue School District Employee, Jared Taylor! At Bellevue Schools Foundation, we are proud to recognize individuals whose dedication and partnership have created life-changing opportunities for our students. This year, we are honored to present the Exceptional Bellevue School District evueschool Employee Award, given in honor of Christy Minteer, to someone whose work has touched countless lives: Jared Taylor Jared began his career with the Bellevue School District nearly 30 years ago in 1997. Over the decades, he has served as a school psychologist and behavior intervention specialist—but his most transformative impact came through founding and leading BSD’s Mental Health Assistance Team. Thanks to Jared’s vision and tenacity, this nationally recognized program has screened tens of thousands of students and connected thousands with therapy they would not have otherwise received. His leadership has led to critical mental health interventions for hundreds of students—interventions that, in many cases, prevented self-harm and provided a path toward healing and hope. Jared, your unwavering commitment to student well-being and your partnership with Bellevue Schools Foundation have made an indelible mark on our district.
