Meet Milo! A retired racing greyhound from New Zealand. He is a happy, affectionate, and playful dog who is looking for a special home to call his own. He is both independent and people oriented. He has amazing leash manners and loves going on his daily walks. He also adores playing with his squeaky toys and doing the occasional zoomy. Milo has shown to do great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys making new friends. Milo is looking for a home with a dog-savvy adopter who can monitor his resource guarding tendencies that he has presented in the past. Save the date for our favorite day of the year, the annual Adopters' Reunion & Blessing of the Hounds! We will have a Blessing of the Hounds at noon, vendors to browse, a 50/50 raffle, games for the dogs, and much more so please mark your calendar and plan to attend this fun event! The Reunion is held rain or shine, and we will move the festivities indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate. If it’s nice out, we will have signups for 10-minute sessions in the dog park and bring out kiddie pools for the dogs. We will also be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers for our usual pot luck lunch. Please bring a salad, side dish, or dessert to share.
