The Northwest Washington Indian Health Board provides public health services and advocates for improvements in Native health for Tribes in Northwest Washington. We are a nonprofit corporation with Tribal representatives on our Board of Directors from the Lummi Nooksack Samish Swinomish Tulalip and Upper Skagit Tribes. We are federally funded through grants and contracts to provide the following services Supports Tribal communities with diabetes prevention DiabetesPrevention EnvironmentalHealth Supports Tribal communities with environmental healthprevention occupational healthsafety injury prevention and emergency preparedness.
