East River Park ACTION is a group dedicated to stopping the total destruction of our waterfront green space along Manhattan's East Village and Lower East Side. The marvelous East River Park along the Lower East Side and East Village in Manhattan is being demolished for a massive levee. We demand a more environmentally sound, resilient replacement park. Keep the few trees that are left! Stop artificial turf!

This is something weve been agitating for. With the rebuilding of the decimated East River Park we need as much real greenery as we can get not plastic grass fields that endanger health especially of children. Contact your City Council member and ask them to support this bill.
