We at OUT4S would like to extend a HUGE thank you to The Rogue Hunt for raising $3,583 for our organization over the last month. The Rogue Hunt is a quirky creative scavenger hunt for people all around the world who want to put more whimsy, creativity, and goodness into the world. Rather than a traditional scavenger hunt where participants find places and items, the Rogue Hunt encourages individuals to create art, solve riddles, tackle physical challenges, and perform acts of service. Roughly 15% of the challenges on the list involve ways of giving back to the community or making the world a better place. This ranges from donating school supplies and canned goods*, to hosting events at your local nursing home, to helping convert out-of-print books to electronic texts. Every year, Rouge Hunt partners with a different nonprofit to host a fundraiser - challenging each team to get as many donations as possible. Want to learn more? At least one of your bracelets should be crafted as an “alpha bracelet” and include a word or image of encouragement. Capture a photo of your completed can-struction and then (sorry!) dismantle your creation and donate the canned goods to a local food bank.
