Last week, Hasbara Fellowships had the incredible opportunity to send a delegation of students along with our CEO to meet with Consul General @ofir_akunis in NY! Unfortunately, not all our student leaders who planned to join us were able to attend. At the exact time of our meeting, pro-Hamas protestors took over the Columbia University library, effectively shutting it down. Hasbara Fellow @shoshanaaufzien was among those caught up in the chaos at the library. Moments like these highlight exactly why our work is more urgent than ever!
