We’re excited to announce that Kerin Da Cruz, MSN, RN, NE-BC, FACHE, has accepted the position of vice president and chief operating officer for UF Health Jacksonville. This is a significant and positive step forward for our leadership team and the entire organization. Da Cruz joined UF Health as senior vice president and chief nursing officer in February 2024, and her impact has been profound. She has not only strengthened and expanded our nursing leadership team, but has also served as a source of inspiration to nurses and staff across the enterprise. Her strategic vision and commitment to operational excellence have played a major role in our continued growth and success. With more than 30 years of experience in health care leadership roles, Kerin has brought forth a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for patients and staff. Her belief in the power of teamwork has already made a lasting impact on our organization. As CNO, she has had a front-row view of both the exceptional work taking place every day and the opportunities for improvement throughout our system.
