Dog dates are such a fun way to support our dogs in need! Cella (featured in the pic ture above) and Disco enjoyed eventful outings with their dates today and can't wait to have a lifetime of adventures with their forever families. Could that be you? During Cella's dog date, she had the opportunity to explore Idlewild Park. She was very curious and adventurous and loved the water! Her date noted that she can be a bit timid on the leash, but with some encouragement she is sure to get more comfortable. She is also very treat motivated and is always ready for a relaxing and snuggly nap. Disco loved having another chance at a dog date adventure today where he explored a whole new area! His date took him on a nice stroll around their neighborhood and explored the grassy fields at UNR. He was a little hesitant when passed by bicyclists and motorcycles but was happy to say hi to those who were passing by on foot. Disco loved having the chance to show off his manners such as sit, speak and shake, especially if it meant getting a tasty treat as a reward! Thank you to our wonderful dog daters for taking Cella and Disco out for the day to give them some enrichment outside of their kennels and teach us a little more about our furry friends!
