Youth Symphony Festival – Oregon's unique high school classical music program.

The Oregon Coast Youth Symphony Festival (OCYSF) is a 501c(3) group that hosts a free 4-day festival for high school orchestras from around Oregon. The OCYSF also runs a winter chamber series and composer's symposium for high school students.

Oregons unique high school classical music program Newport is recognized throughout the Pacific Northwest as a center for excellence in classical music where youth find friendship and selfdiscovery through challenging musical enrichment. The Festival pays for all the expenses of the students teachers and professional conductors. The schools only pay for transportation to Newport. The Festival is an annual 4day event for six high school orchestras where they join together to learn in small innovative workshops perform alltogether in a concert and bond with peers.
