Home Who We Are Volunteer EMS Roanoke EMS has been around since 1928. We werefirst known as Roanoke Life Saving and First Aid Crew established in 1928. A mergerin the 1980s with Williamson Road Life Saving and First Aid Crew established 1939 formed the current Roanoke Emergency Medical Services an allvolunteer rescue squad. At Roanoke EMS weve built our volunteer reputation on saving lives in our community since 1928.
