By "not safe" we mean itis potentially fatal or, at the very least, dangerous to consume. In manyareas, it is not an issue of access to water, rather access to clean water. Tohelp combat this immense problem, Trashwater offers a three-step solution:education; filtration; and mobilization.At Trashwater, we envision a daywhen every community will have access to safe water supplies and sanitaryconditions. It is easy to take for granted ready access to a safe supply ofdrinking water, a toilet, a place to wash dishes and clothes, and a shower andyet nearly one billion people lack these most basic necessities. Other clean water solution may include, rain water catchments, desalinationsystems, fresh water wells, solar filtration systems, or water treatmentfacilities. Because providing clean water only addresses part of the healthissues in these communities we also provide innovative, efficient, and sustainablesanitation solutions.    Trashwater utilizes partnernships withexisting organizations in the areas we serve: clinics; orphanages; schools; andfeeding programs. Our partners have spent great amounts of time and resourceslearning about and working within these communities. Trashwater comes alongsidethese organizations to offer holistic ways of improving lives. Thesepartnerships enable us to bring much needed services into target communitiessuch as medical, job training, micro-t industry, and art education. Mostimportantly,    Trashwater is committed to long termrelationships with the communities we serve for he purpose of ongoingeducation, program development, project evaluation, and sustainable impact.
