Association of Interventional Pulmonology Program Directors – Powered by Red Shark Digital Setting The Standard of High Quality The Association of Interventional Pulmonology Program Directors was established to set the standard for high quality patient centered evidence based training in the field of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of the thorax. The Process Who We Are Interventional Pulmonology IP is an emerging subspecialty of pulmonary medicine. Dedicated IP training requires an additional year of training after traditional pulmonary and critical care fellowship. Training focuses on the diagnosis and management of central airway obstruction lung cancer pleural diseases and specialized procedural training in various airway and pleural procedures.
