The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative The Official LGBTQ Nonprofit Organization of the Stonewall Inn in NYC Inspired by the struggles and ideals of the Stonewall Uprising The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative SIGBI is a nonprofit committed to eliminating the social intolerance that impacts LGBTQ individuals. Established in NYC at the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement our work supports LGBTQ communities around the globe through awareness campaigns educational programming fundraising and candid public dialogue. Our Work Our nonprofit work supports LGBTQ grassroots organizations scattered across the globe especially in communities with slower progress towards equality where continuing discrimination and harassment can no longer be tolerated.
