Welcome! With community support, "FOWL" created, funded and opened (June, 2022) a new library for Winthrop, Washington and the Methow Valley. Now, FOWL supports and promotes the Winthrop Public Library as a vital community resource.

Friends of the Winthrop Library UPCOMING EVENTS Visit the library lobby to check out the newly installed realtime display of the solar arrays photovoltaic output. THE SOLAR ARRAY IS COMPLETE. Fun fact During its first year of operation the solar project is projected save 8800dollars in electricity costs. Over the thirty years of project operation the system isprojected to save the town 460900 dollars.
