North Valley Caring Services is a nonprofit empowering local families for future success in the San Fernando Valley. We are a nonprofit organization serving the residents in the San Fernando Valley, offering a wide array of programs to enable residents to lift themselves out of poverty, while also encouraging them to build a vision for their community's future. The mission of North Valley Caring Services (NVCS) is to empower neighborhood residents to build a vision of their community's future and to actively engage in solving local problems.

What began as a soup kitchen in 1978 has grown to become the largest singlesite food distribution center in the San Fernando Valley offering FREE programs and services to over 300000 people a year experiencing food housing employment and economic insecurity.
