Community Institute for Psychotherapy

CIP has worked since 1977 to meet the mental health needs of Marin County through its dual mission: to strengthen families and heal individuals by providing quality, low-fee mental health services; and to provide a structured intensive training program for qualified psychotherapy interns. CIP serves as a safety net for those with literally nowhere else to turn for the care they need.    We at CIP believe that through psychotherapy, training, education, and prevention, we have a vital role to play in personal and global change. We believe that the healing of the individual and the healing of the planet are inseparable. Our work is accomplished in cooperation and coordination with a wide variety of community-based, public and private agencies and individuals throughout Marin County.
