The Barksdale Reading Institute works to significantly improve MS students' pre-literacy and reading skills. THE MISSISSIPPI READING CLINIC (MRC) WILL ACTIVELY PROMOTE, MODEL, AND PROVIDE EVIDENCE-BASED LITERACY ASSESSMENT AND INTERVENTIONS THAT BENEFIT THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH OF MISSISSIPPI AND THE TEACHERS THAT ARE CALLED TO SERVE THEM.
