The official account for the Mira Costa High School Bands Program. Under the direction of Mr. Joel Carlson, the GRAMMY award-winning music program at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach is rooted in excellence. We are parents, alumni and community members who provide monetary and volunteer support to our Mira Costa Bands program. The band program at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach includes curricular and extra-curricular bands throughout the entire year, including summer. Ensembles include: Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band & Colorguard, Winterguard, Indoor Drumline, Percussion Studio, and the wind and percussion players for the separate Orchestra program at Mira Costa High School.
