Who the heck is TNSTEP anyway? We encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more about how our team supports families across Tennessee. Our new video—created in partnership with the @Tennessee Disability Coalition—will give you a better understanding of how we help families of children and youth with disabilities from birth to age 26. TNSTEP offers free training, personalized support, and resources to help families navigate early intervention, understand rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), move from early intervention to school-age services, prepare for IEP and 504 meetings, work with school teams, and plan for life after high school. We do not offer paid representation services. Instead, our goal is to give you the tools and knowledge needed to feel confident supporting your child’s education.
