Men Sharpen Iron works with at risk youths and first-time offenders. Our goals are to help curb our at-risk youths’ behaviors. Mission Statement It is the mission of Men Sharpen Iron, to serve the needs of youth and families. We will treat each situation with care and compassion, identify and respond to the individual needs presented by each youth, and engage fiscally sound and culturally competent strategies that promote the best interest of the youth. We will also provide victims with opportunities for restoration, to identify and utilize the least restrictive interventions and placements that do not compromise public safety and hold youth accountable for their actions while providing them with opportunities and assistance for developing new skills and competencies. We hope to contribute to the overall quality of life for the citizens of America within the sound framework of public safety.
