January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Cervical cancer is highly preventable and highly curable if caught early. Nearly all cervical cancers can be prevented by HPV vaccination, routine cervical cancer screening (Pap and HPV test), and appropriate follow-up treatment when needed.
