Yesterday, we cut the ribbon and celebrated with an ice cream social for a very special feature in our Teen Center - the Dress for Success Closet! 💙🍨 Teens at our Club got to come fill out a survey to identify what items they'd like to see in the closet, and then got treated to ice cream sundaes! This incredible project was founded by Cece, daughter of our board member Christine Jarosz, who turned her 16th birthday into an opportunity to give back. Instead of gifts, Cece asked for donations to create this closet, ensuring our teens have access to clothing, accessories and hygiene items to help them look and feel their best while attending formal events, going on job interviews, and more. Over the past year, she has worked hard to raise funds, crafting and selling her creations at local fairs, to make sure the closet stays stocked with everything our teens could need.
